Welcome to Philip Arthur’s portfolio of photography. Philip’s love for the art started
as a child in Barbados when he briefly held his father’s Ilford Sportsman range finder camera.
His true passion for photography began while studying for his associate and bachelors degrees
in graphic design. There he learnt the process of shooting on black and white film, developing
and making prints in the darkroom.
As film became less available and digital photography progressed he found his knowledge with
graphic design software and digital photography merged. Hence allowing him to combine the
passion for the art into commercial work. Philip currently works with a Nikon D700 and Nikkor
lenses to provide portrait, event and soon wedding photography.
